Sunny Cove Manor is under new management as of November 2016.  The new owners, Margaret-Anne Halse and Susan Rule, are planning extensive renovations over the coming year, and look forward to a grand opening for the 2017 holiday season.

However . . . .

So as not to disappoint our guests for this year, we are offering a very special pre-renovation deal for the 2016 holiday season.

We will be open from 01 December, 2016 for Bed and Breakfast, providing:

  • Comfortable beds with daily cleaning and amenities
  • Continental breakfast of fruit, cereals, assorted cold meats and pastries

Introduction

For almost a hundred years, Sunny Cove Manor has stood on the mountain above False Bay, providing its residents with matchless views and ardent hospitality. That tradition holds true today. Each suite offers an ever-changing perspective of the Indian Ocean and of the mountains near and far that embrace it. And the cordial reception we accord you will make you feel quite at home.

Below the garden and across Simon's Town Road, Jaeger’s Walk runs along the shore to the beach at Fish Hoek. You can swim, watch the “trek” or seine [traditional] fishermen, shop and eat out in town.  Nearby, Simon's Town and Kalk Bay present their own unique charms.

Behind the Manor is a hiking trail up to Elsie’s Peak, which provides exercise and spectacular photographic opportunities. And for the enterprising, use the metro rail service for trips into Cape Town.

Accommodation

The four suites at Sunny Cove Manor are generous, open and light, each with an en-suite bathroom and panoramic outlook. They also include a refrigerator, tea and coffee facilities, and TV, as well as Wi-Fi.

For more sociable moments, the communal lounge and outdoor patio are comfortable and inviting.

There is also a sheltered Braai area, available for Guests to use.


Access and Parking

The property is gated and we provide one secure off-street parking place per suite.  A pedestrian gate opens onto Simon's Town Road, but vehicle access is from the rear, at 3A Highway Road.
